The Internet Marketing Center Course
You have most likely heard of Corey Rudl. Folks have been promoting his course
for many years now. Usually quite loudly.
What's my opinion? This is the course that got me started in the business of selling my
own products on the web. It is the original and still one of the best.
This is a great courses for folks who are just getting started. Corey wrote this course so
that it doesn't go "over the head" of folks new to the web. That is rare. At the
same time there is a ton of info that is valuable to anyone at any level of experience.
What I like best is that Corey Rudl, who wrote this course, did not start by selling
"How to Get Rich on the Web" products. He built up a book he sells called
"Car Secrets" into a huge online business before writing his course. Reportedly,
his company now grosses over 5 million a year with a small office and a few employees.
Corey is a true pioneer as far as web marketing is concerned.
Corey was the first small web information product sellers I am aware of to utilize an
affiliate program to promote his products. He was the first marketer I know of to use
"form based banners". They out pulled other banners by leaps and bounds. These
"form based banners" are now common everywhere on the web.
In my mind, he invented both the "infoproduct affiliate program" and "form
based banners". Others saw his success and emulated it.
I don't agree with all of his methods and techniques. His sales copy is a too loud and
pushy for my taste. He also built up his business using UCE, but that was back in the days
when it was acceptable.
Be that as it may, for a complete overview of what works in web marketing, his course is
one of my reference books.
I'll tell you exactly why I was convinced back in 1998 to purchase his course. He offered
a "90 day double your money back guarantee" (still does) so I figured that at
the worst I could make a quick buck by returning the course.
Well folks, the course still sits on my bookshelf nearly 3 years later. It is well worn
from use with bookmarks, post-its, and highlighting throughout.
And I could still return it if I wanted! He also offers a "10 year full money back
guarantee".
Guess I just never get around to returning it.
Why? Well, looking at my figures I can see that small $197 investment was the basis for
tens of thousands in increased revenue. And just last week I used one of his example
sales letters as a basis for an autoresponder message.

PS: Not interested in spending money right now? I understand.
You might want to visit his site
anyway as he has lots of great marketing info. Even is it is mixed up with a lot of
"make a fortune" sales copy.
